Day 17: Simple Details

We love all the details that you find in each person's home during holiday season. It is really amazing the time and effort that goes into decorating for Christmas!  We love to visit the homes of friends and family to see how they decorate as well as get ideas for our own homes.  

We've come to realize that the ideas that stick with us are always the most simple.  For example, we absolutely love to add greenery in every room of our home. It is a simple detail, but it makes everything feel so much more festive. 

Lighting is another simple way to make your home feel more merry (and cozy) at Christmas.  MB made these beautiful votives using mason jars and her trial-and-error-mixture-of-glittery-snow-and-ice-goodness. She added raffia and a little bit of holly. So simple, but we love the cozy feeling it evokes.

We have about a dozen of these still left from the craft fair we did last month.  Email or message us if you're interested.  My friend Leslie, created a sweet centerpiece with the two she bought.  They're just as pretty in the daylight!
