Christmas: Day 23 - Chill in Style

We love Prosecco.  We just do, okay?  We love it.  MB decided that on Christmas Eve it needed to look good.  She nailed it.  

A few days before Christmas Eve, she placed a bottle big enough to serve as our champagne bottle in a big bowl.  She filled it with popcorn kernels to keep it from floating.  She froze a layer of water, then added some greenery and cranberries, repeating the process until it she liked how it looked. 

And can I just say- it looked BEAUTIFUL!  Even as it melted and the cranberries and greenery started floating around it in the bowl... it was a star of her tablescape.
